Dreaming of Spring

When I saw the challenge theme over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week, I immediately thought of my Joanna Sheen Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and the wonderful Bird images that are on it - I always think spring must be nearly here when the birds return to the garden.

I chose to use a wonderful decoupage image and papers from the CD for my card.

The dotty papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.  I cut out an additional flower and decoupaged that as well.

You can see the decoupage layers in this photograph.

I also decorated the inside of my card with the papers from the CD.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The CD Sunday Challenge - All About Spring
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 259 - A Lotta Polka Dots
Crafting From The Heart Challenge 7 - Anything Goes/Use Flowers
Quirky Cards Challenge 4 - Pile it High! Layer it Up and try some 3D!

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I always appreciate you taking the time to pop in.

Lovely to see another card from you Pauline. It also gives me the chance to mention the trouble you had with trying to watercolour your first card using a digital image and not a stamp. If you sprinkle the sheet with embossing powder immediately it has come out of the printer and use the heat gun you will find that it fixes the ink.
I tried to find your email address to save putting all this on here but failed.
Thank you for joining in with us.
